Today we celebrated the last day of September with Chalk-A-bration! This idea of sharing poems and pictures with chalk is inspired by Betsy, a blogger and teacher who celebrates each month. Students wrote and drew pictures about what first grade means to them after reading What's Love by Shelly Rotner and Deborah Carlin. It was fun to reflect and think about what first grade means to us. Here are our creations: |
