In class one day we read the book One world, One day. It talked about how a lot of people around the world do the same things as us and they do different things too.
Today we celebrated the last day of September with Chalk-A-bration! This idea of sharing poems and pictures with chalk is inspired by Betsy, a blogger and teacher who celebrates each month. Students wrote and drew pictures about what first grade means to them after reading What's Love by Shelly Rotner and Deborah Carlin.
